Check if your Domain Name can be Transferred

There are various cases where a domain name MAY NOT be transferable to another Registrar. This could happen in the following circumstances:

(a) Domain Name is less than 60 days Old - If the domain you are trying to transfer is less than 60 days old, the request will get rejected by the Registry itself. Domain names less than 60 days old are not allowed to be transferred to any other registrar by ICANN Guidelines

(b) Domain Name has been transferred less than 60 days ago - If you have transferred your domain name to less than 60 days back, then it can not be transferred again for a period of 60 days. An exception to this rule is the transfer back to the previous Registrar in cases where both Registrars so agree and/or where a decision in the dispute resolution process so directs.

(c) You have Locked your Domain Name - If you have Locked your domain name from the Control Panel provided by the current Registrar, then a Transfer Request for that domain name will not be allowed. You will first have to unlock the Name from the Control Panel and then proceed with a Transfer Request.

(d) Your Registrar has applied a Lock or Hold on your Domain Name - If the current Registrar has applied a Lock or Hold on the domain name due to some pending issue, you would be advised to get in touch with their (current Registrar's) Support Team to resolve this issue, before applying for a transfer.

(e) If the domain name is in Redemption Period or in the Pending Delete State, the domain name can not be transferred.
 

Transferring your Domain Name (except .EU and .WS)

Before proceeding with the Transfer you are advised to first check the following:

Once you have confirmed the above, you may place a transfer request for your Domain Name with Sree Jain Infotech, by following the below mentioned steps:Transfer Process for Customers:

1. Select the various Contacts (Registrant, Admin, Technical & Billing Contact) for this Domain Name. You may select from the available list of contacts or Add a New Contact.
   
   You may choose enable Privacy Protection for your domain name.
   
   It is compulsory for you to agree to the associated Product Agreement(s) by selecting the Check Box.
    

2. Finally, proceed with the Payment of the Invoice. .

   Now that you have placed the Transfer Order, the Administrative Contact for the Domain Name will receive an e-mail from Sree Jain Infotech for the Transfer Authorization process, which needs to be approved within 5 days (or else it is assumed that the Admin Contact does not wish for the Transfer to complete and the Order is Deleted in our system). Once the mail has been approved by the Administrative Contact, the Current Registrar will be notified regarding the same. The Current Registrar will send an e-mail to the Registrant and/or the Administrative Contact of the concerned Domain Name to confirm that they wish to Transfer their domain name. If the Transfer is not denied by either the Registrant or the Administrative Contact or the Current Registrar, the domain name will be transferred to you under Sree Jain Infotech in 5 days.

IMPORTANT

Once a Domain Name having an associated Domain (Transfer) Secret is Transferred to Sree Jain Infotech from another Registrar, our System would set a new Domain (Transfer) Secret for such a Domain Name. This process is implemented from a security perspective.

Transfer Process for Resellers:

1. Login to your Control Panel from http://domains.699host.com/reseller.
     In the Control Panel go to Products -> Domain Registration -> Transfer. There, enter the Domain Name you wish to Transfer and the Domain (Transfer) Secret.
       Enter the Username (Email Address) of the Customer, on whose behalf you wish to buy this Service. If the Customer is new, you can Add the Customer, by filling the form given there.
     Select the various Contacts (Registrant, Admin, Technical & Billing Contact) for this Domain Name. You may select from the available list of contacts or Add a New Contact.
   
   You may choose enable Privacy Protection for your domain name.
   
   It is compulsory for you to agree to the associated Product Agreement(s) by selecting the Check Box.
    
2. Finally, proceed with the Payment of the Invoice.
